Does your kid love skateboarding or wants to learn and practice their skills? Skate Camp is the way to go!
Skate summer camp is designed for first-timers, beginners and intermediate skaters, and covers everything from equipment and terminology to etiquette and basic maneuvers. This summer camp also includes field trips, playing other traditional sports, arts and crafts, reading, and other activities.
Summer Camp Registration Dates
- Priority registration: Friday, March 1, 2024 at Noon - Friday, March 29, 2024 at Midnight
- Priority registration only for kids currently enrolled in Parks & Recreation after-school programming
- Open registration: Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Noon
Things to know
- Skate Camp runs from 8 AM to 6 PM and campers must bring their own lunch
- For kids ages 7 to 12 years old
Summer camp fees
The cost is $120 per child, per session.
2024 session dates
- Session 1 – June 3 – 14
- Session 2 – June 17 – 28
- No camp on Wednesday, June 19 in observation of the Juneteenth holiday and skate parks will operate from 10 AM to 7 PM on that day
- Session 3 – July 1 – 12
- No camp on Thursday, July 4 in observation of the Independence Day holiday and skate parks will be closed
- Session 4 – July 15 – 26
- Session 5 – July 29 – August 9
